TooT Artspace St Kilda is delighted to present London Boy Dreaming, by John Canham; an exhibition of bold, playful and visually invigorated abstract paintings.

“London Boy Dreaming is a phrase that could describe so many moments in my life. In my art, it reflects almost every time I construct an abstract work. There is really no planning just putting lines, curves and paint to canvas and dreaming up an artwork, one which I am happy with and one which I hope will simply be an uplifting visual experience. Make more of them if you wish in your own dreaming.

In the coming years, my aim is to paint more, to experience the dreaming of it, the sharing of it and the giving of it, without getting too caught up in the selling of it. When I give art, I think of it like giving someone the best chocolate but hope the pleasure lasts much longer.”
