YogaMeWell Term 1

This is a yoga practice designed to induce an alpha state (calm, clear thinking & feeling) and to encourage self-awareness, self-responsibility and importantly, self-kindness.
We start a little active to release the day, then ebb into slow movement matched to rhythmic breathing.
We flow through around10 vinyasa (sequence of simple movements) before a deep relaxation. Chanting, too, if the group enjoys it.
Yogic philosophy woven quietly in, so you absorb teachings that sustain you not just for an hour, but day-to-day.
Small, safe, friendly, we are a community who enjoy our non-judgmental, peaceful practice. Our special group energy uplifts each other. We aim for our yoga to make a positive ripple effect in the world.
The class is open to all ages and experience. Please understand though, if you do have significant restrictions, you may require a therapeutic class instead, or perhaps some private sessions to learn modifications to use in the group class. You’ll enjoy it more that way.
