The Astor & Supernormal Canteen Present a Sofia Coppola Double

The Astor Theatre is preseting a Sofia Coppola double feature at the end of the month, and we’ve invited Supernormal Canteen along to cater.

So what does that mean? It means on September 30 you can watch The Beguiled (the film that took out Cannes’ Best Director gong this year) paired with Coppola’s iconic Lost In Translation, back to back… plus get an excluisve food offering from one of Melbourne’s most exciting resturants.

Head chef Tim Goegan will be on-hand with the Supernormal Canteen crew, dishing up some very special choc-tops. Modelled on Canteen’s signature peanut butter parfait with salted caramel and soft chocolate. That’s a waffle cone, filled with gooey parfait, doused in salted caramel and topped with roasted peanuts.

We feel this is one of the most exciting offerings happening on the Melborne cinema scene, where award winning and unique cuisine meets curated cinema.
