This edition’s theme = ‘It takes a village to make a music city: Music Policy from top to bottom’
Join us in Melbourne, Australia for the 2018 edition of the Music Cities Convention, 19 – 20 April 2018. Known as Australia’s music capital, Melbourne is home to more live music venues per capita than anywhere else in the world. The city boasts a strong live music culture, a diverse slate of music festivals, renowned music educators and passionate audiences. This is backed by the support of government at both city and state levels.
About the convention = The event brings together global leaders from governments to academia to the music industry to showcase best practices on the use of music – and all its variants – to improve city life.
