Intro/Spectre

We are delighted to be able to welcome David Ramsden to The Laneway Artspace for the eighth exhibition in our Spring/Summer 2017 Season – ‘Intro/Spectre’. David, who is an extraordinary young artist, is making his solo exhibition debut in the gallery.

‘The bare male form appears in the aether, blue dripping paint flowing from the head. Intro/Spectre is the artistic process as a form of contemplation. The solitary and quiet act of painting delves into the psyche, at times unclear, at times peaceful. Recurring imagery invokes a sense of time passing, stretching and echoing. Each iteration getting closer to something.’
