December 3, 2017 @ 1:00 PM

PLEASE NOTE – THE SHOW IS ON SATURDAY 2ND OF DECEMBER. THERE IS A BUG WITH FACEBOOK EVENTS THAT IS SHOWING THE 3/12 ON SOME PAGES.

Elsewhere For Twenty Years – A Celebration Of Something For Kate

2017 marks the twentieth anniversary of Something For Kate’s debut album, Elsewhere For Eight Minutes. With first single Captain (Million Miles An Hour) reaching 39 on the Triple J Hottest 100 that year, the album resonated with the Australian public like few albums of the time. It remains a highly revered album, and it’s influences can still be heard in young Melbourne bands to this day.

To celebrate this important event, James Spencer Harrison (J M S Harrison/Old Etiquettes) and Dougie Arnott (Psychic 5) are hosting an evening at the Prince Of Wales. To be held on December 2nd, a collection of incredible Australian vocalists will be lending their voices to a recreation of the album in full. A selection of older songs, b-sides and later tracks will also be performed over the course of the evening.

Proceeds from the night will be donated to Support Act, a charity that is close to all of our hearts. Something For Kate have been kind enough to give their blessing to the night, and the artists have also been kind enough to donate their time and voices.
