(8) Christmas comes but once a year… unless you live in the Southern Hemisphere!! (8)… yeah that was cheesey but who cares. ITS ALMOST CHRISTMAAAAAAS! Well, second Christmas

For those of you who love a wintery Christmas then look no further than Christmas in July at The WAH. Think cosy fireplaces.. think decorations.. think a nice turkey dinner with the trimmings adn not a bikini in sight (unless anyone is feeling particularly brave).

The day will be split into two sittings for Christmas dinner, 1pm or 5pm and bookings are essential.

Starters…
Winter root vegetable soup with bread and fennel butter

Bloody Mary prawn cocktails with gem lettuce, over dried heirloom tomatoes and sweet potato crisps

Mains…
Turkey stuffed with sage and pork, wrapped in Parma ham with roast vegetables, potatoes and a rosemary jus
Or
Baked winter vegetable pie, mushroom duxelles, roast vegetables and potatoes
Or
Braised beef brisket with pumpkin gratin, roast vegetables, potatoes and a red wine jus

Desserts…
Sticky black stout pudding with toffee sauce, berry compote and vanilla bean ice cream
Cheese cake and ice cream
